Representatives of the enterprises and Government of the Kama region have recently made a working visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan. This business mission was mainly aimed at development of international industrial cooperation and increase of exports of products from Perm Krai as well as at working out the possibility of foundation of joint manufacture.
The following enterprises has taken part in the business mission: INGC, Aleksandrovsk Machinery Plant, Suksun Optical and Mechanical Plant, Kamkabel, Novomet-Perm, Eris, Tekhnika Meditsiny, Kredo-Plast, Torum, BIGOLAND, I.V. Pchelin Individual Enterpreneur and Stanovlenie Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization of Further Professional Education and the specialists from the Regional Engineering Center (REC) and Export Support Center (ESC) of Perm Krai.
During the visit, the delegation held a series of meetings with the Uzbek colleagues, visited some companies and conduct negotiations on expanding cooperation with such Uzbek enterprises as Bukhara Oil Refinery, Kagan Department of Main Gas Pipelines (Uztransgaz), PETROCHEM SEPEHR, Kandym Gas Processing Complex (LUKOIL), Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex, Uzbekistan GTL, Mubarek Gas Processing Plant and Kokdumalak Oil and Gas Condensate Field (Uzbekneftegaz), Buxoro Varnet, Parvoz Plyus Fayz, SULTON TEX GROUP, Uzshoes, Ecvatorial, Merganteks and others.
Following the visit, agreements have been reached that will form the basis of a roadmap for industrial cooperation.
The participants of the meeting have noted that is it important to establish stable business connections for stimulation of the economic partnership. Representatives of Perm enterprises have expressed confidence that such exchange of experience and joint work will help not only to increase the export turnover but will also contribute to implementation of modern technologies in the production of both regions.
